CLAM Fire Blankets
The CLAM Fire Blanket is a master piece of design featuring a unique front loading design to facilitate fast removal and deployment of the fire blanket. They are available in sizes from 1m x 1m which are ideal for domestic kitchens and up to 1.2m x 1.2m which can be used in small commercial kitchen areas. For large commercial kitchens we would recommend a fire blanket with dimensions of 1.8m x 1.75 such as offered by POD or Flat Pack Fire Blankets. The CLAM fire blanket design allows it to take up 40% less wall space in comparison to other fire blankets. They are all British Standards (BSi) Kitemarked, BAFE approved & tested to BSEN 1869:1997 and available in red or white.
For a commercial kitchen we would also recommend a Wet Chemical Extinguisher if fat fryers are present.
