Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

UK Mainland

Delivery is free on all orders over £250 and is shipped out next day delivery by if received by 1pm to UK Mainland.

The majority of our goods are shipped by FedEx.

Orders under £350 are shipped as follows:

FREE - On all orders over £350.00
£8.50 + VAT - Next day if received by 1pm
£6.50 + VAT - 2 to 3 days delivery
£30.00 + VAT - Saturday delivery

UK Offshore and Scotland

If your location is in Upper Scotland or the Scottish Isles, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland then delivery normally takes 2 to 3 days and the following costs apply.

£34.00 + VAT - Orders Under £750.00

Europe & Worldwide

Freight charges for Europe and Worldwide are dependent upon consignment size, weight and destination. Please contact us directly for quotes.

Can I collect my order?

As we are an online retailer we have no facility for people to collect orders. Our head office is located at a separate location to our warehouse.

Delivery Times

Most items are shipped for next day delivery to the UK Mainland if received by 1pm. Delivery times are anywhere between 8am and 6pm. If your purchase does not arrive by 6pm please contact us so as we can contact the delivery firm to track your purchase. We will do everything in our power to sort out any delivery issues in a quick and efficient manner.

Some items such as safes, safety clothing and alarm panels may take longer to deliver depending upon stock levels.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event of your goods being delivered faulty or damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of the date of delivery in order for us to arrange a replacement. Warranties issued by the manufacturer and ourselves concerning faulty or damaged goods do not in any way exclude the statutory rights of the customer under the Sale of Goods Act. We will in turn be responsible for the shipping costs to you if the goods are faulty during this period. As per our terms and conditions all returned goods must be arranged directly with us as we will send a courier to collect the item/s.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you on the same day the order is received. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

From time to time personal data collected from the customer may be used to send information about discounts, free stuff and special offers on fire safety products.

Customers contact phone number may be passed on to our courier company in order to aid deliveries. From time to time we may contact you in order to fulfil your order successfully and for the means of providing after-care customer service.

We may from time to time carry out security checks at random (this may involve passing your details to a credit reference agency, who will check details we give them against public and private databases and may keep a record of that check to use in future security checks - this helps to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions). From time to time we employ google adwords campaigns with conversion tracking to monitor click to purchase ratios. Returns Policy

Returns Policy

A2Z Fire Limited is committed to 100% customer satisfaction and as such offer a full returns guarantee. We will be in touch within 24 hours in relation to any enquiries by email, although normally we contact you far faster.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or you are dissatisfied please contact us within 10 days of delivery and we will arrange for a courier to come and collect the goods from you.

Conditions of Return

Faulty Items:

Items must be packaged and returned to us as supplied in all original packaging with manuals and instructions.

Refunds:

The goods must be unused and returned in the same condition as supplied.

Note: The cost of retuning goods to us for refund will be deducted from the original purchase price. This may cost more than the original delivery cost due to the weight often associated with fire safety equipment.

ALL RETURNS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WHEN COLLECTED BY OUR COURIER.

Returns Procedure

Please contact us within 10 days of delivery to arrange for return of goods and replacements where necessary.

We will need the following information:

Your full name, delivery address and email address.

The invoice number for the purchase.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 10 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Please note, for any goods returned, the consumer has a duty of care for the products during the cancellation period.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
