The Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is a recent innovation that is specifically designed for use in commercial kitchens. It is the only fire extinguisher designed for Class F fires involving cooking fats and oils. A 6 litre Wet Chemical Extinguisher is a must for any fire safety plan involving kitchens with fat fryers. A single extinguisher is capable of tackling a blaze in a 75 litre deep fat fryer. Not only does it extinguish the fire, but also coats the fire hazard preventing vapours releasing, re-ignition and helps to cool the oil down over time.
